pürminerals 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup with SPF 15

*Press Sample*

Hey y'all! Today I have a foundation review for something I've been playing with for the past few weeks.  This is different from most popular mineral foundations in that it's pressed, which I'm absolutely LOVING.

The cornerstone of the Pür Minerals line, this mineral makeup foundation is pure mineral pigment ground to the smoothest texture and bound with organic shea butter and vitamin E. This full-coverage mineral foundation is good for your skin. Vegan friendly. Paraben-free. Gluten-free. The 4-in-1 Pressed Mineral Makeup Foundation is truly a one-minute mineral makeup miracle!

Exclusively formulated with age-defying Ceretin Complex, this skincare-enhanced foundation, powder, concealer, and SPF 15 delivers flawless coverage that corrects, prevents, and interrupts your skin concerns.

The compact is pretty hefty and solid.  It also includes a mirror, which makes this perfect to toss into your makeup bag.

The suggested application for this is to use the Chisel Brush, or whatever buffing brush you have, and apply in circular motions.  Building up the product if needed.  I've used both a standard kabuki brush and a big fluffy brush for application with no issues.  It's not powdery or messy at all.

As you can see in the swatch here, just using my finger, that it's a pretty good match. It's about the same tone as my lighter freckles.  I received this in the shade Light and it's pretty much perfect.  I'm about a NC15-NC20 depending on how much sun I've gotten and this is perfect for me.  It contains 9% Titanium Dioxide as the active ingredient.

I've used this a couple of different ways.  The first time I tried it, I used a little concealer on a few acne spots then buffed this over my face.  What I achieved was a SUPER natural look that wasn't one bit cakey or "made up" looking.  I felt like I had nothing at all on my skin, but I did at least feel protected.  Then I decided to try this over BB Creams and lighter coverage liquid foundations as a little extra coverage and protection, the result was fabulous.  I loved how it still looked natural and kept my oil production in check a little longer than if I hadn't used it.

I definitely suggest trying this out.  As I said, I love that it's pressed, it's not messy, it's not powdery or cakey, and it looks completely natural.  Perfect for days when you just don't have a lot of time and need to not only look great, but have some sun protection as well.

Also, I just noticed they have a new Sweet Georgia Peach Tea Sugar Scrub in a kit that, as a GA Peach, I'm dying to try.
