Today I have another one of the polishes I picked up last month from Kawaii Nail Lacquer. My kid watched me to this mani and let me just say he loved it.
I wanted the base of this to look like the Arc Reactor in Iron Man's chest. So I started out with MaxFactor Odyssey Blue(which I showed yesterday) and sponged a little bit of Color Club Lumin-Icecent in the middle of each nail.
Then I applied 1 coat of Kawaii Nail Lacquer Iron Man & finished it off with a top coat.
Description from the Etsy shop: "Iron man has fine red glitter, more red bar glitter with big red hexagon
pieces, with fine holo gold glitter with orange hexagons and orange bar
glitter."
This applied beautifully and isn't annoyingly packed with bar glitter. As you can see, I got a lot of each of the glitters with just one coat and didn't have to blot anything on.
When I finished this mani, I turned around to show the kiddo and his jaw dropped to the floor. As you may have seen from a few previous posts, he's a HUGE Iron Man fan. I told him I will be recreating this again when we go see Iron Man3 when it comes out in May and he was all excited.
I will definitely be getting more Kawaii polishes in the future and you should too.
This retails for $9.00 in her Etsy shop. You can shop HERE or visit her Facebook page HERE

Max Factor - Odyssey Blue
Oh blue, how I love you & Max Factor, how I miss you....in the US. This beauty that I bring to y'all today was part of the prize I won a while back from Glowstars.net. I wanted to do something under a glitter I have to show y'all tomorrow and this was the one I reached for. :D
This is 3 coats of Odyssey Blue with a top coat.
This is a dark blue metallic with a lighter blue/silvery shimmer. The formula is thin compared to most metallic's that I've used so I had to go with 3 coats. I think I still ended up with a few splotchy spots.
The bottle is the same size as the Fantasy Fire shade and has a purple shift to it that doesn't transfer to the nail. That disappointed me a little, but I love blues so much I can't complain.
Be sure to check back tomorrow to see how I add to this. :D

ManGlaze on Fire......Fantasy Fire
Today y'all get a two for one deal. Without the pesky shipping & handling charges.
First up, is ManGlaze Mayonnaise. I got this little sample size bottle in one of my orders and will definitely have to get the full size.
Mayonnaise is an amazeballz matte white. Above is 3 coats with no top coat. For you fashion peeps, this is the perfect winter white. It would be perfect for nail art too.....snowflakes & snowmen. Remember when you used to paint your nails with Wite Out because you were bored? This reminds me of that....minus the annoying chunks.
Then because I just couldn't leave that alone I had to pull out one of my new pretties and layer it. I won a giveaway from glowstars.net and was allowed to choose between US or UK brands. Since I'm in the US I went with UK. I told her a few of my lemmings, my fav types of polishes, and to just surprise me. She crushed a lemming with this.
That's right.....that's Max Factor Fantasy Fire. 2 coats with top coat.
Fantasy Fire is a sheer purple jelly with a multi-chrome shimmer. It flashes copper, red, green, and gold. This polish instantly transforms anything you layer it over. Over top of Mayo, it looks like a purple shimmery watercolor.
I really wish MaxFactor would come back to the US. I used to wear their make-up all the time & was disappointed when they left.
I absolutely love these two together and separate. What about you? What's your favorite polish to layer Fantasy Fire over, if you have it?
