Recent camo colored NOTD

I wore this mani a few weeks ago.  I had a mani planned for a metal show in Atlanta, but went completely opposite of what I had in mind.

This post will be short(YAY!) as I didn't have any time to take pics with my camera.  I was able to get the one below on my phone and shared it on Instagram.

I started off with Sinful Colors Snow Me White as my base on all of my nails.  I did a watermarble on my pinky and index fingers using China Glaze Mahogany Magic, China Glaze Agro, Ozotic 531 and Zoya Flynn.   Then on the rest of the fingers, I brushed on a few coats of Ozotic 531.

The watermarble kinda "broke" in the water, but I went with it rather than trashing it and it opened up to show the white base under.

This mani wore like glue for over a week.  I loved how the duochrome holo of 531 matched the rest of the colors.

Ozotic 505 layered

In my post earlier today, I showed Ozotic 505 by itself.  It's extremely sheer and 4 coats just didn't cover my nail line.

SO, I knew I needed to layer it.  I tried a few different base colors on a nail wheel and really couldn't see much of a difference between black and dark purple.  I decided to go with Wet N Wild Ready to Pounce.

505 is a Multichrome that shifts from dark green to dark purple. In some of these pics I can actually see a slight bit of blue which is supposed to be there as well.  I used Sally Hansen Miracle Cure, 2 coats of WnW RTP, 1 coat of Seche Vite, 2 coats of 505, and 1 more coat of Seche Vite.

As I type this post, about a week before it's going to post, I'm wearing this as a full mani with just an accent of Glitter Gal Dark Purple 3D Holo on my right hand.

All of the pics below were taken under my lamp with no flash.  I had to shift my hand around to show the color shift.

It looks like I sponged green over purple.

And this last one was taken in the dark with flash...

I'm totally in love with this polish.  AND since it's a layering polish, IMO, it'll last longer.  :D

Ozotic 505 retails for $17.50, but I believe it's on sale for $16.50 on Llarowe at the moment.(I could be wrong, so don't quote me on that.)

So, go visit http://shop.llarowe.com and pick up a few polishes.  For the rest of the year 10% of every purchase is going to food banks across the country! :D

TOODLES Y'ALL!!!

Ozotic 505 via Llarowe

Leah Ann at Llarowe was kind enough to send this to me as well to review.  This is my first Ozotic polish too.

Since it's my first Ozotic, I wasn't sure what to expect and really didn't look at swatches before I applied it.  So, you're going to get 2 posts today.  This post will be 505 alone and the second post will be 505 layered.  I didn't want to pic spam in one post as I wanted to show every angle I could possibly show.

I had to use 4 coats to get the results I'm about to show you and to me, it's still to sheer.  I can see visible nail line and really hate that.  BUT, it's still pretty.  I used 4 coats over a base and unfortunately can't remember if I used a top coat or not.  (sorry)  505 is a Multichrome that shifts from dark green to dark purple.  There's supposed to be a few other colors in that shift, but I only see green and purple.

Now to the pics.  These first ones were taken under my lamp with no flash....

Now, I took these in the dark with the flash on, and you can see the green...

Then, I stepped outside into the sunlight and took these with no flash to show the purple....

You can somewhat see the green outside too.
