Hey y'all! So, these were actually the nails I wore for Memorial Day weekend, but I didn't get a chance to edit the pics in time to post it before hand. I hated not being able to show pics on IG that I'd taken while out and about or hanging around with the neighbor family during that entire weekend. The good thing is, now I can show you & maybe inspire you for and and all patriotic holidays.
For this mani I used Wet N Wild French White Creme as my base. The red is Zoya Demetria, the blue is Zoya Talia, and the sparkle is China Glaze Fairy Dust.
I applied the white base & let it dry. The next day I did a sponge gradient with Zoya Demetria & Talia and goofed when I let the two blend together a little. I could have fixed it, but thought it looked ok enough to leave it alone. To add a little sparkle I put some Fairy Dust over top of that.
For the 2 middle nails I applied 3 chevron mini vinyls from
NailVinyls to allow the white to show through and alternated applying the red & blue shades.
I loved it so much that throughout the weekend I was taking pictures with my nails and EVERYTHING on my phone.....

A wooden flag display from the Hot Spot at Target that has a home on my mantle. |

My bottle of Apple Pi Mead (check Instagram and you'll see what I'm talking about) |

A Bath & Body Works candle at the outlet store. |
Then because I was totally and completely lazy, all I did on my right hand was the gradient....but I applied the two shades separately so that the white peeked through. Thankfully I remembered to snap a picture.

My dominant hand is actually making a rare blog appearance! |
I know it's not the traditional shades of the flag, and normally I would use those....but this year I wanted to do something different.
What do y'all think? Feel inspired?
