Zoya PixieDust Fall 2013

*Press Sample*

Hey y'all!  Today I have the gorgeous new PixieDust polishes from Zoya's Fall collections.  The best thing about them is you don't have to worry about using a fan to help dry them as it doesn't bubble!  Besides that, they're absolutely stunning.

All of these are 3 thin coats, just to keep it all even, with no top coat.

Arabella - "Can be best described as a rich fuchsia pink in a matte, textured, sparkling finish."  I would describe this more as a berry with fuchsia sparkle.  There's a silver running through it in the bottle that I can't see on the nails.

Carter -  "Can be best described as a royal purple in a matte, textured, sparkling metal finish."  I would describe this as a grurple(grape purple) with fuchsia sparkle.  The formula on this one was the thinnest of all of them.  The first coat looked extremely sparse.

Chita - "Can be best described as a forest green in a matte, textured, sparkling finish."  A gorgeous deep green with silver sparkle.  The bottle has more silver, as did Arabella, running through it than what showed up on the nail.  I feel this would be a perfect Christmas-y PixieDust.  It can easily be a one coater, but I went with 3 to make everything even.  Also, am I the only one who wants to call this Chia?  I can't seem to get that jingle out of my head now.

Dhara - "Can be best described as a firey orange copper with a matte, textured, sparkling metal finish."  That is exactly how I would describe this color.  While it is similar to Destiny, it's more of a true orange than a coral....and coppery.  Again, Zoya has made me fall in love with an orange polish & I hate orange.

Sunshine - "Can be best described as a "Van Gogh" navy blue in a matte, textured, sparkling finish."  Denim blue...like the dark denim is what this looks like to me.  This is another one where there's more silver running through the bottle than what shows up on the nail.  It's also another one that can be a one coater, but I used 3.  I could definitely see some blue jean inspired nail art with the color & texture on this.

Tomoko - "Can be best described as a romantic champagne silver with a matte, textured, sparkling metal finish."  This one is tricky.  It looks more silver, to me, in the bottle.  However, on the nail it does look like champagne.

If I had to pick favorites, it would probably be Chita, Dhara, and Sunshine.  I'm still holding out for a white PixieDust.
