Zoya Lovely Collection

Today I have the Zoya spring collection dubbed Lovely.  I meant to have these up yesterday, but I'm still trying to balance out my time and trying to make some "ME" time.

I want to apologize in advance for my hands looking red in some of the photo's.  I promise these did NOT give me lobster hands.  I have no idea why it happened as I swatched these during my usual bout of insomnia.

BLU - 2 coats with top coat.  Hyacinth blue cream.  Their description of this is spot on.  I do think this is a little more blue in real life and not so pale white-ish.  This is totally one of my fav's in this collection.

GEI GEI - 3 coats with top coat.  Blushing cherry blossom pink metallic. My bottle says GieGie & I've seen some others mention that theirs do too.  This, IMO, is a very sheer baby pink shimmer.  I really like this one too and didn't think I would.

JACQUELINE - 3 coats with top coat.  Magnolia nude cream.  To me, this is a pale yellow-y beige.  It was streaky on the first coat but smoothed out.  I probably could've gotten away with 2 coats, but I'm dealing with a horrible lighting situation in my polish room.

JULIE - 3 coats with top coat.  Soft wisteria purple metallic.  I'm totally loving this dusky lavender shimmer.  I had to giggle when I saw the name because I have a friend named Julie & I call her either Jules or Choolie, which is what I almost wrote when making my notes on this.

NEELY - 2 coats with top coat.  Spring green cream.  When I was looking at this, I was thinking a pale minty green with a slight beige tone.

PIAF - 3 coats with top coat.  Fresh forsythia yellow metallic.  I'd never heard of forsythia, so I looked it up & linked it.  It does look like that.  I would describe this as a mustard-y yellow/gold shimmer.

The shimmers/metallics in this collection were all sheer and needed 3 coats.  If I had done thicker ones I probably would've only needed 2.  The creams were a little difficult for me and streaky, but a couple of coats fixed it.  I'm totally in love with Blu, Julie, and GeiGei(aka GieGie).
