I'm going to try to make a long story short with these. I totally meant to have them up before the holiday, but between the kid being out of school, the guys getting sick, lack of sleep(from taking care of them), and trying to do everything I didn't get a chance.
When I got these in, I thought they were the holiday polishes. SO...I layered them thinking they were. I was so wrong. I looked it up & they were from the Runway collection. So, with that being said, here they are in all their glory. :D Oh, and I used ALL Pure Ice polishes too.
Stop Flirtin - 1 coat - over Silver Mercedes with top coat. This is a clear based polish with small aqua-ish blue glitters and silver hex glitters.
Seduce Me - 1 coat - over Strapless with top coat. This is a clear base with small silver glitter & holo silver hex glitters.
Call Me! - 1 coat - over Not Now with top coat. Small coppery red glitters with silver hex glitters in a clear base. This is borderline orange, but still has more of a red tone.
The Family Jewels - 1 coat - over Not Now(Index & Pinky) and Glass Of Bordeaux(middle & ring). Small gold glitters with diamond gold holo glitters. I couldn't really get the holo to show up on my nails, but you can see it in the bottle. As a WoW addict, I have to laugh at the name of this because of one of the jokes from the male Draenei race. You can click HERE to see what I'm talking about.
Turn It Up - 1 coat - over Not Now(index & pinky) and Glass Of Bordeaux(middle & ring) with top coat. Small green glitters with silver hex. Now, I don't own OPI Fresh Frog Of Bel Air, but this looks like a spot on dupe for it.
As I said, I thought these were holiday polishes and I wanted to layer them as such....but I was totally wrong. BUT, they're still amazing and can be layered over anything. I did have to dig a little for the diamond glitters in The Family Jewels, but everything else was perfect. These are sheer so they're better for layering, but you could definitely wear them alone if you wanted to.
As with all Pure Ice Nail Enamels, all polishes in the Runway Nail Trends collection are free of formaldehyde, toluene and DBP. (SRP $1.97)
Pure Ice is available at Walmart stores nationwide.
~Note: These items were sent for my 100% honest review/opinion.
What a fun collection - I'm not usually into Pure Ice polishes but these have my interest peaked big time! My fave is the orange over the green :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, they've come out with a WHOLE lot lately.
