A Royal Motley Sammich!

Firstly, I actually had a totally different mani in mind when I did this.  I was going to do a purple gradient.  That was until I remembered I had Revlon Royal in my untrieds drawer.  I have no pictures of it alone because there are already a TON out there.  I might get around to it one day, but for now I have this.

For this mani, I used Revlon Royal & Finger Paints Motley.

The pictures above are after 3 days of wear.  The layering is as follows:
  • 1 coat of OPI Nail Envy
  • 2 coats of Revlon Royal
  • 2 coats of Finger Paints Motley
  • 1 coat of Revlon Royal
  • 1 coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat
Yes, 7 layers.  I only allowed a few minutes between coats.  Unfortunately it did take a while for me to do this because I was exhausted and had had very little sleep.  This looks like water to me.  I love looking at it and really dread taking it off.

    1. I topped it with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri and waited a little bit. I've had horrible insomnia lately, so I watched SATC while it dried.
