Glitzology - My Viking Boyfriend

If you follow me on Facebook, I said I was going to do a nail art post for today....well I got lazy and decided to do some layering.  Mainly so I could play WoW at the same time.  Anywho, I went into my untrieds drawer and grabbed 2 polishes.  I dunno why, but I was in a mood for blue. 

I started out with 3 coats of China Glaze Ride The Waves(and a top coat). 

RTW is a bright blue jelly, more bright than Revlon Royal.  It dries almost matte, so it definitely needs a top coat.  You can see how sheer of a jelly it is from my nail line showing.






Then I grabbed one of my new Glitzology polishes that I ordered before Christmas, My Viking Boyfriend.

From the Etsy description: "This polish is made up of blue and silver holo glitters, dark blue hexes, and holo silver squares and hexes."  It's pretty spot on.  With most glitter polishes, I have to dig dig dig to get at least one of each type of glitter on my nails.  NOT WITH THIS ONE!  This baby is packed & I love it.  I only needed one coat in the pictures above and I used one coat of Gelous. 



Then I brushed another coat of RTW on top to make a jelly sammich, just because.

I was going to try mattifying it, and totally forgot. 



I really like this and can't wait to try the other two I picked up from the sale, Bad Things & Baby Dragons.  If I had the funds, I'd totally be getting a TON more right now because she has a sale going on.  I totally need that cupcake scented cuticle oil, I don't know how I missed it when I ordered.   I'm including links below.
