Hey y'all! Today I have the beautiful Desert Escape collection from China Glaze to show off. Before I forget, these are only available at a new online retailer so be sure to read through the post to get more info on that.
These all applied easily in just 2 coats & as usual I used Seche Vite as my top coat. I'll have a nail art post up soon using a few of the shades so be sure to look for that.
What's She Dune? - A sandy beige/almond cream. Like desert sands.....or what I think of the color.
Don't Mesa With My Heart - A glowing bubblegum pink cream.
Rain Dance The Night Away - GORGEOUS turquoise cream. This is absolutely my favorite of the collection. In fact, I'm tempted to put this on my toes right NOW.
Don't Desert Me - Shimmery fuchsia metallic. It's almost like a pink/purple duochrome.
The Heat Is On - A tomato-ish red crelly(creamy jelly). Every time I look at this or the name, the 80's Glenn Frey song of the same name gets stuck in my head.
Meet Me In The Mirage - I would best describe this as like a rose copper with a silver metallic shimmer. This was SO shimmery that this was the best out of the 27 pictures I took of this shade. The light reflected off of every other one and kinda "blew out" the polish. Thankfully you can somewhat see the polish in the picture on my nails and in the bottle.
In addition to the six modern and neutral hues, the China Glaze Desert Escape collection also features two nail art kits:
· Fringe with Benefits: Includes three lacquers and a set of temporary tattoos· Art You Looking Tribal: Includes three lacquers and a black Stripe Rite nail art liner
And you can’t miss a meeting with the China Glaze Tribal Council, a set of six micro mini bottles of the lacquer collection.
China Glaze® Desert Escape will be available in June 2015 online at LockAndMane.com. Individual shades MSRP $7.50; Nail Design Kits MSRP $14.95, Tribal Council Micro Minis MSRP $12.00.
