Hey y'all! Today I have a review of a wonderful eye cream that was recently sent to me. A few months ago I was asked if I'd like to try out this product from emerginC & I said of course. Earlier this year, I really started taking my skincare seriously. I'd never really used my products daily and like I should, so when I started noticing some lines around my eyes. I jumped to action.
My eye area is super sensitive & my entire face is excessively oily. When I look for eye products I tend to go for those with good ingredients, lightweight, and something that won't burn my eyes. Thankfully, I've found it in this. This is the emerginC Scientific Organics eyelight cream.
This super-rich, all-natural, eye cream contains a powerful combination of ingredients including: cupuacu butter, harvested from a tree in the Amazon known for its overall nutritive and hydration benefits; asthaxanthin, a natural, super-potent antioxidant known to be more powerful than vitamin C and E; grape stem cells, which work to maintain epidermal stem cell activity; aquacell, a natural blend of watermelon rind and lentil extract to help improve skin tone and hydration; Derm SRC, a bamboo and pea extract that reduces the appearance of fine lines while gently exfoliating the skin; shea butter, apple extract, and rose hip oil also offer added hydration to the delicate skin around the eye.
It's offered in a 15ml(0.5oz) jar for $65. You might think that's a hefty price tag, but I feel it's absolutely worth it. As you can see in the jar, it appears thick and creamy...looking more like a lip balm. However, once you put your finger in to get some product, you can feel how thin and lightweight it is. A little really does go a long way & it's all you need. It sinks in almost instantly.
Since using this, I've not noticed my lids getting as oily as they were before & it doesn't interfere with my eyeshadow primers and makeup looks. In fact, I think it makes my primer go on better. There are no synthetic fragrances or colors in this cream, which is definitely a plus.
The ONLY negative thing that I can even say about this is I absolutely hate the packaging. Creams and balms in jar form are one thing I don't like, especially smaller jars. Getting products, or anything really, stuck under my fingernails is a HUGE annoyance. Honestly, that's amazing if I can only find one bad thing & it's really just a personal preference.
Great review on this eye cream. Its nice to hear that you got some great results from using it.
