Finger Paints Film Noir Collection

*Press Sample*
Hey y'all!  Today I have a new collection from Finger Paints which is now available at Sally's.  It is Limited Edition though, so if you see something you like go grab it.

These new shades have a porcelain finish.  I have to assume they are meaning kinda sorta matte like a porcelain doll because they do dry that way.  So, I took pics of these with and without topcoat so you can see what they're like.

I'm going to warn y'all though....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE ignore my cuticles and/or dry skin in some of these.  This is what happens when you've had very little quality sleep for weeks, you forget to moisturize(*grabs lotion*).

Beautiful Mystery - This was a little more streaky and annoying to apply than it looks in pictures. I would describe it as a soft pastel slate blue gray.  I wasn't sure I would even like it, but I do.  This is 2 coats.

Film Noir - The vampy namesake for the collection.  I'm thankful that my camera actually picked up the coloring on this, because on the display it looked black.  This is a deep rich eggplant purple that is almost black, slightly darker than it looks in the bottle.  It was also a slight pain to apply, but not nearly as bad as Beautiful Mystery.  This is 2 coats though it could easily be 1.

Petal Obsession - Soft baby pink, almost chalk looking.  Another one that was easier to apply.  This is 2 coats.

Hollywood Decadence - This is an extremely milky/watery pink base with tons of glitter.  I think I saw gold, blue, purple/pink, and some silver.  I did layer one coat of this over Petal Obsession because I could tell how sheer it was going to be when I opened the bottle.  That being said, this is still pretty awesome.  Not only does it dry matte(or porcelain) like the others, but the glitters lay completely flat.  I actually quite like this.

I wasn't sure what to expect with these, but I think I like them both with and without topcoat.  They dry rather quick, but seem thicker than every other matte polish.  That being said, I like them BETTER with topcoat since it helps to smooth everything out.

These are currently available at Sally's Beauty Supply.
