Paint The Town Red, White, & Blue with Salon Perfect

**Press Sample**

Hey y'all!  Salon Perfect is here to get y'all ready for the 4th of July!  You can show off your nails with stars & stripes with glitter for some patriotic flair.

The Salon Perfect® Paint the Town Red, White & Blue collection features 15 shades including classic red, white and blue crèmes and shimmers, plus gold and silver metallics, and six limited edition glitter top coats.  I have 6 of them to share with you today.  I had a 7th, but sadly it had an accident in transit and didn't quite make it.

Wild Blue Yonder - A light blue cream with a subtle shimmer.  I actually looked up shade names for blues and the closest thing I could find to describe this is United Nations Blue.  This is 2 coats.

He's With Me - Deep red glitter.  I think this is a shade or two darker than China Glaze Ruby Pumps, I haven't actually compared the two though.  This is 3 coats.

Grand Finale - Red, white(silver holo), and blue fiber(bar) glitter.  This is over a nude-y gray base.  It was actually easier to use than I remember bar glitters being way back in the day., though I did have to kind of "pat" it on rather than brushing it on.

Star Spangled - Silver glitter with red, white(they look sorta like flat silver), and blue stars applied over a nude-y gray base.  On my pinky and index fingers, I used a dotting tool and placed the glitters on and patted the polish on the other two nails using the brush.

Save Me A Spot - Matte red, white, and blue glitters in a clear base.  I layered this over a nude-y gray base plopping it on the middle and ring fingers while using a dotting tool to place the glitters in a pattern on my index and pinky fingers.

Silver Sparkler - Small and hex silver holo glitters in a clear base.  This is 2 coats over Wild Blue Yonder.

I also received a top coat named "Crystal Clear" which I used in place of Seche Vite over all of these swatches.  It doesn't say anything about fast or quick drying, but I found that it dried faster than any other regular top coat I've ever used.

I didn't get a chance to use these, but might later this week for my actual 4th mani.
