Purple & Black Prom Nails

Hey y'all!  Today I have some prom nails that I am totally in LOVE with.  I was scrolling through Pinterest a while back and saw THIS dress. I immediately thought I just HAD to do nails to match since I'm obsessed with purple(I just recently noticed a LOT of my nail art lately has some shade of purple in it.

I used Zoya Mason as my base color for the purple allowed that to dry then used striping tape randomly and applied Wet N Wild Black Creme over top.  Once that was almost dry, I did a glitter fade using China Glaze Some Like It Haute.

For the accent nail, I used Black Creme and Some Like It Haute.  Finished all the nails off with a coat of Gelous(to keep everything smooth) and Seche Vite. 

I'm extremely obsessed with this mani and can't stop drooling over these pictures.  Now I wish my prom dress had been purple instead of blue.  Psst...you'll see it next week.
