Today I have one of the cutest little handmade products I've ever used to tell y'all about. It's a Lotion Bar from Simple Luxuries.
When I was given the opportunity to review this, I had a tough decision as to which fragrance to choose as they all seem amazing. I've been totally obsessed with vanilla scents lately so I picked Very Vanilla.
The smell is a bakery type vanilla, but not overpowering. The top notes are french vanilla & whipped cream butter; with middle notes of cotton candy, chestnuts, and maple sugar; all on top of a dry down of vanilla beans.
There are very few ingredients, which you can see listed clearly on the label.
Because of the packaging, it's a no fuss, hands free, no mess way to apply lotion. I think you need several. Not just purse or bags, but the car, the office, etc. Imagine you're at work or somewhere important and look down to notice you've got a dry patch on your feet(or legs). You don't want to slather a ton of lotion on then wait for it to soak into your skin. Pull this bad boy out and just glide it on. No rubbing needed. It's not greasy at all & adds just the right amount of moisture.
This comes in a tiny deodorant style, roll up tube. It's shorter than a Zoya nail polish bottle or a purse sized hand sanitizer. I keep it on my desk at the moment and I'm almost 1/4 of the way through it already.
Lotion Bars retail for $2.99ea. and come in a variety of scents. They also have a variety of candles & bath products.
Be sure to check out the shop and follow them on Facebook & Twitter to get product info & sales updates.
I definitely want to try out some of the lotion candles, soaps, & scrubs. If I had the minty sage & basil shampoo bar and soap, I'd probably never leave the shower.
