Today is part 2 of my China Glaze Cirque posts. Yesterday it was the creme's, but today it's the sparklys.
Running In Circles - 2 coats, no top coat. A shimmery emerald green. A bit brighter than I thought it would be. My sister wants this one soooooooo bad.
It's A Trap-Eze! - 3 coats with top coat. A sheer milky white base packed with a TON of hex & dot glitter. There's blue, green, fuchsia, yellow, silver, white, and pink. I think you would definitely need a coat of Gelous over this if glitter pieces annoy you, otherwise it's ok without it. I noticed in my original pictures of this that I bumped a nail & took a huge chunk of it off, so I had to reswatch.
Now rather than use Whirled Away alone, I layered it over the cremes that I showed yesterday.
Whirled Away over Escaping Reality.
Whirled Away over Def Defying
Whirled Away over Surreal Appeal
Out of the 3, I think Whirled Away was my least favorite. It's a clear base with large white hex, medium black hex, & black bar matte glitters. I had a difficult time getting glitter to transfer onto the nail, so I had to kinda pat & brush it on.
I did have a bubbling issue with Whirled Away over Def Defying, but that was only because(and I find this funny) I had to help my neighbor get her cat out of my tree. Her daughter ran in my house & into my office looking for a ladder & I go outside to see my shorter(than me) tiny Italian neighbor carrying a ladder and asking me to hold it while she climbs up. As she climbs down from grabbing the cat, it jumps out of her arms and she freaks out. I laughed so hard.
~ Note: These polishes were sent to review for my 100% honest opinion.
love!! the emerald green is perfect for the holidays!! xo
ReplyDeleteAwesome story! That green is pure amazing!!!! Everyone is showing Trap-Eze so I am so happy to see a good swatch of that one. I'm not feeling the black and white either - looks like a pain.
