Smell Good Color Club Holiday

On a recent trip to Sally's, to use my birthday coupon, I saw they had some Color Club holiday polishes.  After seeing they were scented and not being impressed with the scented glitters last year I was kinda leery.  I went with a couple I figured I'd at least like the color on and grabbed a few other things.  Before I forget to mention it, these were $3.59 with my Sally's membership card.

First up, Glitter Wonderland....

Glitter Wonderland is a medium purple with a pink/blue shimmer.  Above is 2 coats with top coat.  Best of all.....to me, it smells like CHRISTMAS COOKIES!!!!!  I couldn't be happier about that.  Now from what I've seen of other reviews/swatches, only Sally's has this Winter Affair collection that is scented.  Sorry to disappoint.

Then I decided to layer Snow-flakes over top of it.  If I had known it wasn't scented, I probably wouldn't have purchased it....but it is what it is.

Snow-flakes is very similar to Essie Shine Of The Times, Nubar 2010, and the HTF Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure.  It has that copper/green/pink/orange flash to it depending on how the light hits the flakes.  I used 1 coat over Glitter Wonderland without a top coat to finish it off.

I may go back and check out the others along with their scents & snag a few.

  1. I blogged about the green Ho Ho Holly (love that name) this week, it is a must have for a green pine tree lover! Absolutely wonderful! : )

Glitter Wonderland looks good on you, I had issues with the smell and formula and returned it. Thinking of the red one... are you? ; )
