Fish Scale Tips with Sparkle!!!

So yesterday I showed y'all Sand & Stilettos.  I've been trying to do a little more nail art lately & each time I try something I've not done before.  This is what came to mind instantly.

As I told y'all yesterday, I used 3 coats of S&S with a top coat over a glue base.  Then I used a medium sized dotting tool to apply a scale look to my tips.  I wanted to bring the lavender in S&S out so I used Wet N Wild On A Trip (Purple) & Black Creme.   I started with the purple around where the whites of my nails start then put black on top of that....then purple again leaving black for the tips.

In no way is this as perfect as I wanted it, but I always post my mani's.  Perfect or not.  This was my first attempt at a mani like this and I like it.  I'll definitely be trying it again.
