Zoya Designer 2012 Fall Collection

Up next is Zoya's cream collection for fall named Designer.  As with the jellies, I've put these all in a collage.  I took a TON of pictures.  I'll tell you my thoughts on each one after the picture and on the entire collection at the bottom of the post.

Rekha - Blood red cream (Bibhu Mohapatra custom shade).  Above is 2 coats with no top coat.  It starts out kinda bright then deepens with the 2nd coat.  It makes me think of sangria.

Toni - Dark maroon red cream. Above is 2 coats with no top coat.  This makes me want to go get some plums. Anyone else think of Tony! Toni! Tone! with this color?  Maybe I'm showing my age.

Monica - Dark mullberry purple cream.  Above is 2 coats with no top coat.  It's like an eggplant.  That deep rich purple.  I actually had to re-swatch this as the humidity caused horrible bubbles that I didn't see until I went to edit pictures.  I still have this on, as I'm editing posts, and it's beautiful.

Natty - Smoked navy blue cream.  Above is 2 coats with no top coat.  Before I even read Zoya's description of it, I thought the same thing.  It's a smokey blue.  I had to re-swatch this one too as I had horrible bubbles in the polish and top coat with my first application.

Evvie - Evergreen green cream (Peter Som custom shade).  Above is 1 coat with no top coat.  It's like a military green, a deeper/grayer version of Shawn, but lighter than Noot(below).  Coincidentally, this is the nickname of one of my nieces. :D

Noot - Charcoal green gray cream. Above is 2 coats with no top coat.  This is like a blacker version of Evvie.  The bottles even look similar.

Now, my thoughts.....These apply like a dream, but because of the humidity I had a TON of bubble issues.  I would sometimes have to fix or re-swatch a nail because of that.  Though, it seemed it wasn't as bad when I did swatches later at night. These are amazing fall, vampy shades.  I honestly don't think I have anything like them in my collection.

Also, I forgot how shiny Zoya's are without a top coat.  So much, that you can see the reflection of my photo tent/camera in some of the shots.  Most of these could probably be applied with just 1 coat, but I went with 2 for most of them.

These and the other 2 collections retail on Zoya.com for $8.00
