Hello
Friends! I am super excited to be given the opportunity to guest post
on Harri’s Blog! Today I have for you a mani I am super excited about.
Yay!
I had never stamped over a holo before, and I wanted to see how it
would look. Turns out I LOVED IT. The sun could not stay out long
enough. The pic above is in the shade, where it looks like a sparkly
granite grey...it’s pretty like this too!
Look at the holo on my pinky!!! I’m dying inside, in a good way. First I painted my nails with 2 coats of Zoya Kelly. Over the top of that I used Hits Zeus,
only one coat. Is anyone else’s brush on this super wonky? My bristles
stick out of this hole in the side of the stick part of the brush...it’s
weird. Maybe some day I’ll take a pic and post it on my blog.
This picture shows how Kelly still peeks through. That wasn’t my intention, but I wanted to conserve Zeus
because the bottles are teeny! My hands look super giant compared to
that. Anyway, I then used my holy grail black stamping polish (although
I’ve never used Konad Black) Wet N Wild Fast dry in Ebony Hates Chris
and I used Plate 322 from the new Bundle Monster set. Omg. Loving those
plates by the way. If you don’t have them, you need them. No joke.
This pic is blurred to show the holo a little more. I love holos. I need more.
Do you like to stamp over holos? I like this monochromatic sort of look. I also have Dionisio and I want to try an opaque purple polish and try this look on that color!
I’d like to thank Harri for having me, and thank you to all of you for reading!
