A few OPI Ballet's

I remember seeing these when the press release came out and original swatches started being posted and thinking that I need some jellies, but wasn't too sure about the nude/softness of them.  I'll not babble so much and get right to it.

First up, we have You Callin' Me A Lyre? I needed 3 coats to get this result and could've added more.  Jellies are great buildable colors.  This is a beautiful light pink and a great interview color, in my opinion.  It looks similar to what I see on Giada de Laurentiis' nails on Food Network.  And my pics above....NO TOP COAT!  Though I didn't like how this made my fingers look red.

Then I added Pirouette My Whistle, which is another one from this collection on top of You Callin' Me A Lyre? in the top picture, then layered You Callin' Me A Lyre? on top in the bottom one to make a jelly sandwich.  Pirouette My Whistle is a clear based glitter with Silver hexagonal & small silver glitter.  When I layered YCMAL over top, the glitter looks white.

If you're not a flashy glitter fan, but still like glitter get this one.  If you're like me and already own Servin' Up Sparkle and LOVE how holographic and sparkly that glitter is, you're probably not going to like Pirouette My Whistle.

Lastly, we have Care To Danse?  This one I absolutely had to have.  The pics above are 4 coats only because I wasn't paying attention while applying and goofed a little bit.  It's a slight lavender shade, that looks more white/pink than purple, but I <3 it.  Please ignore the spot on my ring finger.  I banged it with the brush while cleaning up after I took too much polish off.  Normally, I'm against VNL(visible nail line), but I'm starting to come around....and these aren't bad at all.

The formula on these was great.  The only other OPI Jelly that I've used was one of the Texas Sorbet's, (which I now own 2) and loved it.  I'll try to get pics of those up soon.

Do y'all own any of these?  Which is your fav?

LATER Y'ALL!!!
