I like crackles and glitter. I've only known of one other brand of crackle glitters, so when I got these to review I was excited. You can click

Now to the beauties. I've seen everyone else using black as their base colors, but I wanted to do something different. China Glaze Hologram didn't work too well, so I went with opposing colors on the color wheel.

Jade-D over China Glaze Stella. This is a yellow-y, green glitter crackle.

Glam-More over China Glaze Agro. This is a beautiful fuchsia glitter crackle. When taking pictures I was afraid it wouldn't show the true color, as it was looking pure purple on my camera. Luckily, I didn't have to adjust anything.

Luminous Lavender over China Glaze Trendsetter. This lavender shade was sort of sparse in the glitter department.

Gleam Me Up over China Glaze Vermillion. This is a beautiful aqua blue shade and is by far my favorite.
These were my first China Glaze Crackles. I did have a problem with some of them being overly thin, especially Jade-d, but I let it sit with the cap off for a little bit. Though after that I forgot to apply a thin coat and the middle finger wouldn't crack. On some of the other shades, you can see where I did thicker coats vs thinner ones as it seemed to separate more with thinner coats.
These do dry matte and definitely need either a coat of Gelous + a top coat or 2 coats of a thick top coat. I just used a standard base/top coat combo with these for swatching purposes.
I'm still deciding how I feel about these. And luckily, for glitters, I didn't have any issues with removal. It came right off and any residue went away while washing my hands with soap & a nail brush.
These will be releasing next month(May) and will be available in salons & beauty supply stores retailing for $9.
LATER Y'ALL!!!
~ Note: These were sent for review by China Glaze for my 100% honest opinion.
Although I am not a crackle fan, these look very cute!!
