Revlon Whimsical

I love this polish more than I thought I would.  I've had 0 luck finding it around me, so a wonderful monkey sent it to me along with a package to review(I promise I'm getting to that soon :D).

If you've followed me, and paid any attention to my ramblings, you'll know I'm a sucker for deep/dark vampy colors.  Especially on shorter nails.  I saw this in my untrieds and decided to give it a go.

I started off with a coat of OPI Nail Envy, 2 coats of Absolute! Light Blue which is a bit darker than light blue, but it's a beautiful blue cream, then 2 coats of Whimsical.  Finished with a top coat of Sally Hansen Insta-Dri

I'll tell you more after the pictures......

As I'm sure everyone knows, Whimsical is a dupe for a well known $18 polish.  I don't know how true that is myself as I do not own that one.  Whimsical does have a milky light blue base that is extremely sheer.  You'd need a few coats for opaqueness unless you use a base color as I did.  There are hexagonal light blue and silvery-pink glitters as well as a small blue glitter.

I wore this for days, and didn't have as much of a problem with removal as I thought I would.  I assume that's because I had 2 layers of polish underneath.  This one polish has made me realize I need more spring-y light polishes in my collection, so I'm working on that.

What do y'all think?

LATER Y'ALL!!!
