I dunno if Fail Friday will be back permanently, but I had this & just went with it.
I've had pretty bad results with water marbling. They're getting better, but I STILL can't figure out how I'm getting bubbles. I think once I get that and what polishes will work down I'll be much better at this.
Here's what I used: Zoya Shawn, China Glaze Trendsetter, Sally Hansen Yellow Kitty, & NYX Girls Hunter Green. I also used a green shimmer on my index & middle fingers, but I can't remember which one.
See what I mean about the bubbles? My TC smudged my index, I didn't like the way the shimmer looked on my middle finger so I stopped using it. I dipped my ring & pinky fingers at the same time which is why my ring finger doesn't really look marbled.
I think I'll try this combo again once I figure out the bubble culprit as I like these colors together.
What do y'all think???
Ooh I hate when those bubbles come up! I haven't figured out what does it either, though I always suspected last minute bubbles in the water or something but I think I am wrong. I like the colors though, definitely try them again some time!
ReplyDeleteLove the mani...
ReplyDeleteI hate bubbles too... but I like the color combo:)
ReplyDeleteI don't think this is a fail! It looks great! The bubbles aren't a fail, they add character ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, there are bubbles, but the colors are beautiful and you did a great job with the marbling.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the ring and pinkie combos!
ReplyDeleteThe bubbles suck... sometime I think it has more to do with how the finger is lowered in (what angle) vs the polish, although I'm no water marble expert for sure... :)
I think it looks really neat!
ReplyDeleteOMG I am sooooo in LOVE with this and MUST attempt to duplicate it! <3
