Free Spirit + Ghoulish Glow + stamping + scars = Fun GITD Neon Mani

For reference GITD = Glow In The Dark.  Rather than type it out every time, I'll just abbreviate it the entire post.

I went to a housewarming/surprise birthday party over the weekend and wanted something fun.  I actually didn't pay too much attention to my nails for once, but everyone else seemed to love them.  I decided to try something new/different and this is how it came out.

I started out with 2 coats of Pure Ice Free Spirit over a base coat.  Free Spirit is a pretty grassy/neon green that's not too much.  It has a hint of shimmer to it.  In looking at some swatches online some people appear to have a version that looks minty, but mine isn't.  SO, make sure you check the bottle...I'm not sure which is correct.  The 3 pics below have a top coat of SH Insta-Dri in the red bottle.

I really liked this.  It's not technically a neon, so there's no issue with application or at least I had no issue.  And there's no issue photographing it.  And it doesn't look all funky on my nails.

Next I slapped a few coats of China Glaze Ghoulish Glow, which is GITD over top and another coat of SH Insta-Dri.  I didn't get any pics of just those glowing.  Then I used WnW Black Cream(for the first time) to stamp on my left hand using images from my Bundle Monster plates BM-213 & BM224.  For my right hand I took a black striper and made random looking scars.

Unfortunately, I didn't notice until editing the pics my errors.  Not all of the images picked up on my stamps and oddly the bats on my middle fingers have top coat bubbles that make it look like it's coming off the nail.  On my right hand the top coat kinda smeared the black.  Either way, I think it adds character to the mani.

As always, I'm still learning how to manipulate the settings on my DSLR, but was able to get somewhat of a pic to show you.  You can see the glow.  It's a bit blurry, but trust me it looks MUCH MO BETTA in person.
I have a feeling I'm going to be playing with my GITD polishes a LOT.  Plus, it helps that I have 3 different ones.

TOODLES Y'ALL!!!
