I'm scheduling this to post in about a week. I have so many other stuff already ready to go that I didn't want to bump any posts and get all confused. To save time, I will play with polish for a few days, take pics of everything, edit the pics, and draft the posts to be automatically posted at a date/time I schedule. It's so much easier for me.
Enough of that, now to explain the mani. I was inspired today by Anne at Southern Sister Polish to do a Tequila Sunset mani. I call mine Sunrise because well, I just noticed I did my colors opposite the way she did hers. I forgot to take pics of the colors I used, but I did remember to write everything down.
This is 2 coats of Zoya Kieko with Essie Sand Tropez on the ring finger.
For the ring finger (base of nail to tip):
- Essie Sand Tropez x2 with Color Club Soft As Cashmere & Essie Little Brown Dress sponged over top
- Essie Coat Azure sponged with Wet N Wild Saved By The Blue sponged over that
- Zoya Areej sponged
- Zoya Rica sponged
- Wet N Wild The Wonder Yellows sponged then brushed over the tip.
All other fingers (base to tip:
- Zoya Kieko x2
- Zoya Areej sponged
- Zoya Rica sponged
- Wet N Wild The Wonder Yellows sponged then brushed over the tip.
Then I attempted to draw a palm tree on the accent nail using my black Art Deco striper.
I don't think it's the best, and DEFINITELY not better than Anne's, but still cute. My son thought it was awesome though so I'm pleased.
TOODLES Y'ALL!!!
