Picnic at the lake

Yesterday we woke up early(before 8am) in my house.  I knew it was supposed to be a nice, sunny, warm day.  So I had an idea.  We live less than 5 minutes from the lake and have only taken Hunter for the Christmas lights.  I thought why not go and have a little picnic.  Well, we totally forgot to grab the cooler, so we stopped by Publix and I decided we'd get subs.  That way we didn't have to purchase stuff we'd already left at home, didn't have to make it, and didn't have to buy plates or anything.  So, the 3 of us each got a sub, we got 2 containers of Pringles, then picked up sodas at the gas station. 

Rather than go to a dock/park area closer to the house, we drove a little further and went to the park by the dam, which is close to The Dam Store..... LoL.  Found a place, parked, ate, and walked around a little bit.  We all wore shorts and it was great.  Yes, it was a little windy and chilly(mainly because of the water) but it was great.  We didn't stay for long, but Hunter had a great time.  We stopped by the playground in the neighborhood and let him play before coming home for a nap.  We ended up the day by dropping Hunter off with our friends kids & the adults went out for dinner.  Now here's some pics I took........I got to play with my camera again!!!
