L.A. Colors - Fuel

I picked this polish up recently at Dollar Tree.  Not only did the pinky/purple duochromeyness catch my eye, but the name...Fuel.  It makes me think of the song Fuel by Metallica.

2 coats & you can still see the white of my nails.

When applying this polish I had a few issues.  The bottle wouldn't open, so I had to take some pliers to it.  That almost ruined my nametag on the lid.  These do not have and stickers or labeling with the names, so I made my own to remember what the color is called.  The other issue was it's extremely messy.  It's thin and runny.

I didn't really notice until I went to put a second coat on that if you use too thick of a coat, it runs to the sides of the nail.  I had to do 3 coats to get any sort of opacity out of it, 2 was just a little too sheer for me as you can see below.

I can't really complain too much about this polish because well I did only pay $1 for it.  I absolutely LOVE the color, but will have to remember when I use it in the future to have plenty of time.  I figure the best way to apply this would to use several thin coats.  If you use too much, it'll take forever to dry.

I don't know how long this would work before starting to show signs of wear, but again, I LOVE the color.
