Hey y'all! Today I have swatches of 4 gorgeous FingerPaints polishes. I can say that after these, and the flakies from a few years ago, I need more FP polishes. I'll get right to the polishes. Make sure you check back in tomorrow to see a quick bit of nail art I did with these.
Also, FYI....Finger Paints are currently(Feb 2014) BOGO Free at Sally's.
Well-Cultured Pearl - 3 coats with topcoat. This is a beautiful pearly, shimmery, almost metallic, white. I stepped outside while I waited for the TC to dry and OMG it was pretty. For being simple, it's lovely. I can see this being a gorgeous shade for wedding nails.
Art Nouveau Nectarine - 2 coats with topcoat. A bright, creamy, orange-y coral cream. In the bottle, it was kinda "meh"....but on the nail OMG PRETTY! I see this as my pedicure color of the summer.
Minimalistic Mauve - 2 coats with topcoat. This gorgeous cream is kind of a deep fuchsia color. It kinda reminds me of MAC Rebel lipstick. I also see this being a summer pedi color for me. :D
MichelTangelo - 2 coats with topcoat. I can't quite accurately describe this color as it looks different every time I look at it. It's....deep mauve/brick red cream/almost berry chocolate-y with a tiny amount of shimmer. So tiny that you can't even see it on camera. It makes me think of retro-ish colors.
These all applied beautifully. The flat brush made it effortless. The creams could easily be one coaters, but I did two. Also, they really don't even NEED a top coat. In fact, in the swatch of Minimalistic Mauve, there's NO topcoat on my middle finger. I smudged that finger shortly after swatching and when I redid that nail, it looked no different than the others did that had Seche Vite on them.
FingerPaints™ retails for $5.29, less if you're a beauty club member, at Sally's Beauty Supply and SallyBeauty.com. Also, I noticed that some of these colors are not yet listed on the website so if they're not available now they should be available in March 2014.

Some very pretty shades! That coral is great :)
ReplyDeleteThe Micheltangelo I have is an orange shade - was yours labeled properly? I figured orange made sense bc of "tangelo".
ReplyDeleteI think they changed it. The website has the same shade listed as my bottle.
