Zoya Irresistible Collection

 *polishes provided for review*

Today I bring to you the last of my Zoya summer collection swatches.  I admit, I'm a total slacker.  I've had these pictures on my camera for days & I'm just now getting around to posting them.  For that, I apologize.

So, I'll skip right to it. :D  I used 3 thin coats and a topcoat for all of these.

Amy - "Can be best described as a full-coverage, red orange foil metallic."  Yes, another orange that I'm in love with.  This is more orange with golden foil/sparkle.  Similar to China Glaze Riveting, but more coppery.

Bobbi - "Can be best described as a full-coverage, hot magenta pink foil metallic." I'm loving this one too.  It's got so many shades of pink depending on the lighting.  Too pretty.

Hazel - "Can be best described as a full-coverage, blue green foil metallic."  I didn't really notice much green in this one.  On my notes, I wrote "icy blue foil metallic".  This was a pain to photograph though.  Oddly, this wasn't my favorite either and I love blues.

Kerry - "Can be best described as a full-coverage, yellow gold foil metallic."  I completely agree 100% with that description.  I was thinking this would be a bit more yellow than gold though.  I'm kinda "meh" about it, but I'm sure it'll be great for some nail art.

Rikki - "Can be best described as a full-coverage, fern green foil metallic."  This totally reminds me of some of the fern plants my mom always had growing up.  You can really see the silver sparkle in this.

Tinsley - "Can be best described as a full-coverage, rose gold foil metallic."  This one really could've used 4 coats as I noticed a few sheer spots while editing pictures.  It makes me think more of a pinky/orange copper foil.

Overall, I think this collection was hit and miss for me.  Zoya says these are all opaque, but I had to apply multiple coats(and honestly a few could've used 4 coats) to get full coverage.  Granted, I used thin coats...but you're supposed to use thin coats to avoid bubbles.

While I'm not fully impressed with these, I do absolutely LOVE Amy and Bobbi.

These are currently available for order on Zoya.com for $8ea.

  1. Even though they might have needed multiple coats I love the swatches and am so glad I ordered them with my ED promo!
