Bona Clara Skincare for your 30's

I was recently contacted and asked if I wanted to review some products from Bona Clara skincare that are targeted to your specific age range.  Mine is 30's, but they do also have 20's, 40's, and 50+.  I immediately said yes.  Up until the past year or so I've been horrible about my skin care routine, but I've been pushing myself to remember to take care of it.  

This is going to be a slightly long post because I'm going to give you all the info I can as well as my thoughts. 

What I received I received is the 30's Try Me kit which is a travel size version of the 5 piece 30's Level 3 kit.  I've been using this for a few weeks now, so I thought that was a fair amount of time to get a feel for it.

30's Cleanser

I'm not exactly sure what it is, but to me this has a clean oat scent.  It's very refreshing and soft.  I actually think less is more with this product as I needed about half the amount that was suggested.

30's Scrub

I'd used this for at least a week before I figured out why I loved it so much.  Not only did it feel great and smooth dry spots out, but the smell reminded me of SOMETHING.  When I finally figured it out, I bawled like a baby(yes in the shower).  It brought back memories of hanging out in the garage at my grandparents house.  My grandfather doing his woodworking stuff & my grandmother doing laundry.  I don't know if the scent is like the laundry soap that she used or the starch that she used, but OMG I absolutely LOVED it.  This day also happened to be the 5th anniversary of her death & it hit me hard.  Though with all that, I'd love to have a huge bucket of this stuff to exfoliate my body with.  No it's not the normal "clean linen" smell most people associate with laundry, but it has an amazing fresh scent.

To put her best (and youngest-looking!) face forward, the 30-something woman must regularly exfoliate her skin. The 30s Scrub is her perfect solution for exfoliation and anti-aging support. 30's Toner

I know you're supposed to apply toner with a cotton pad, but I find that I basically have to soak a pad in product to notice any of it going on my face & not staying in the pad.  So, I just mist it on and it feels amazing.  It helps to allow the next 2 products absorb into my skin & it doesn't irritate me at all.

The 30s Toner is the solution to finding balance for your skin in its 30s. After cleansing skin, application of this energizing toner helps to further purify skin and shrink the appearance of pores. Citrus antioxidants help repair damage, while wildflower botanicals help promote cellular renewal. Meanwhile, powerful peptides fight fine lines and wrinkles – leaving your skin youthful and healthy. 30's Serum

This is totally light and non greasy.  I do allow it a few minutes to absorb into the skin and it's wonderful.  I make sure to apply it to my neck as well.

This last step just finishes up the beauty of this kit.  It isn't greasy one bit & doesn't take long to absorb.  Leaving my face nice and smooth.

I will admit that I've been mostly using this system as my morning routine rather than day & night, but I've been amazed at how well it works and doesn't make my skin look like I bathed in a vat of oil.  Nor did it irritate my skin.  They do also have additional products not included in the kit, such as....night cream, SPF, makeup remover, and night serum.
