Wet N Wild Sugar Plum Fairy collection

I mentioned earlier on Facebook that while it was a snow day today, and I did nothing, I was inspired by the black/purple hat, scarf, gloves I got for Christmas.  Out of the 4 holiday palettes that I won, I'd ONLY been using Night Elf b/c I'm so totally in LOVE with it.  Well, I decided to give Sugar Plum Fairy a try.  I didn't think to do swatches or take a pictures of the palette (it's really too late now) but if you click here you'll be able to see a very good view of what this one looks like.

I basically stuck to the right side of the palette on this one but did use the top left one just a little bit on the inner corners of my eyes.

I can't say enough how happy I am with this palette.  I used my ELF eye primer and my NYX jumbo pencil in black bean(only on the lid under the darker color) as a base, the rest is the 4 colors from Sugar Plum Fairy.  I left the image full size, so if you click on it you can almost see a reddish purple to that darkest shade.  I also used my L'Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil in Plum & Maybelline Falsies Mascara (two of my fav's & I forgot to mention the mascara in my Fav's blog I think).  I think you can also see where I kinda did the double cat eye on the outer corner of each eye.  All I did was take my flat liner brush and dip it into that darker color, then applied it over the plum eyeliner to set it in.  It was just by accident that I did the double line, so I did the other eye too.  I think it's cute.

With these two palletes(NE & SPF) I'm falling for WnW, I never liked them in the past.  Yes some shades are a bit chalky, but you just have to know how to handle that.  I had VERY minimal fallout and since I took a tip from some guru's and do my eyes before I even put foundation on, it wasn't a problem.  I'm hoping this snow clears out before this weekend so I can get some of the new WnW Color Icon trio's from Walgreens.

TOODLES Y'ALL!!!

P.S. I know my skin looks really pale, but I didn't do any bronzer or contouring as I thought the dark eyes were enough.  Also, I used my new L.A. Colors blush from Dollar Tree, if you want to know the shade I'll go look.  Lastly, I used the Revlon ColorStay foundation & my Josie Maran lipstick in Birthday Suit.
