Winter Snowflake

This was just a spur of the moment mani for me.  I originally wanted to use some of the canned spray snow in a winter look, but upon trying it out on a nail wheel I quickly learned that it takes FOREVER to dry and flakes off real easily.  Putting a top coat on it basically just turns it into a clear bumpy mess.

So, while that didn't work out....this did.

I started out with a coat of China Glaze Blue Bells Ring from the Holiday Joy collection.  Then on my index and pinky fingers I used a pom pom (one of those fuzzy arts & crafts things) with NYC French White and dabbed a bit onto the nail.  My pinky sorta looks like pink snow....that would be from the pom pom.  Then, I used the snowflake image from my SHANY BM14 plate along with China Glaze First Mate to stamp over the "snow".  Unfortunately, I can't find these plates on Amazon as the set has since changed.

On my middle and ring fingers, I used Sally Hansen Whirlwind White along with the RA-119 plate to stamp the large white snowflake image.  Lastly, I topped it all off with a thin coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust for a little added sparkle.  :D

I'm kinda "meh" about it, but also kinda pleased.  It's one of the few stamping mani's I've done without a problem.  What do y'all think?
